Emdebian at Fosdem 2008, Brussels.

23rd and 24th February 2008, Brussels. Several Emdebian developers met up during Fosdem, including at many popular talks in the Embedded presentation room.

Neil Williams presented two talks, one for the embeddded track and one for the Debian track where contributions from Frans Pop and Daniel Silverstone showed that TDebs in Emdebian will need to be architecture dependent (even if the Debian TDebs are not).

During the conference, Hector Oron was able to build updated toolchains for gcc-4.3 which are now available via the Emdebian repositories.

Wookey, Nick Bane (Toby!Churchill), Hector Oron (Zumbi), Neil Williams and others discussed how to solve the issues that block deployment of Emdebian and hinder development within Emdebian and agreed to seek extra work sessions for Emdebian in Cambridge and Extremadura during 2008.
